These gentle yoga classes are for those patients of all abilities and those with physical limitations. No experience is necessary.
Classes meet for an hour in the third-floor conference room.
During cancer treatment and upon completion of treatment, please speak with your doctor regarding fitness and survivorship. According to o the American Cancer Society, studies have found that yoga can be helpful in terms of anxiety, depression, distress and stress.*

Every Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
This 30 minute guided class requires no previous meditation experience. Participants are taught mindfulness through a variety of breath and body awareness practices. Mindfulness is paying attention to each and every moment of our life, non-judgmentally, with purposeful action, focused attention, and a sense of curiosity.
