Judy M. Jackson, M.D.
Director of Radiation Oncology
Dr. Jackson was recruited to the Comprehensive Cancer Center in 2008 to serve as Medical Director of Radiation Oncology. She is Board certified in Radiation Oncology and has 15 years’ experience performing advanced therapies including Stereotactic Radiosurgery, Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy, Image-Guided Radiation Therapy and brachytherapy. Dr. Jackson completed a fellowship in Radiation Oncology at the University of California-San Francisco, where she was trained in Gamma Knife Radiosurgery and interstitial brachytherapy. She completed her residency in Radiation Oncology and earned her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. She is trained in the Trilogy Stereotactic System from Varian Medical Systems. Her areas of specialization include cancers of the head and neck, breast, prostate and lung as well as gastrointestinal and gynecologic cancers.
From 2010 through 2013, she was recognized by her peers as being among the area’s Top Doctors from survey results published by Palm Springs Life magazine. Prior to relocating to the Desert, Dr. Jackson was a founding medical director of a gamma knife surgery center and a founding board member of a breast center in Nevada.
